The Last Call
Last chance to get a short film shot with your phone into the International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego, California
We celebrated the new year with you in mind…just so you know, we do that every year. The new year is a nudge for us. It reminds us that the doors will close to accept new films for the upcoming 12th edition of our film festival.
A film festival that opens the door to everyone around the world to make movies using smartphone cameras which everyone has access to does have to close its doors at a certain time.
January 13 is the hard extended deadline to submit your short films.
This extended deadline makes our time crunch tougher because there is much to do and we take every single submission quite seriously. Your babies are in good hands. We watch and consider each and every film as if we were in your shoes. You’ve done the hard work by creating great films and now it’s our job to consider each and every one of you as humans behind each film. Before we proceed, before we make our selections, we want to congratulate you on your achievement!
For every finished and completed film you see, there are hundreds of films that never made it out of the editing process. Even more never made it past production, and even more of them never made it to production.
Celebrate your accomplishment with us and the mobile filmmaking community in San Diego, even if your film did not get selected. Our film festival considers every filmmaker a part of our mobile filmmaking community. Even if you’ve yet to make a mobile film.
You can find out about us and see for yourself. Look for notifications from us in the next month with our intent to select your films, photos and screenplays and be sure to respond quickly in order to finalize the process to get your projects to the judges for #MFF2023SanDiego.
We hope to see you soon in our beautiful city and online!
The red carpet is in your pocket!™
