Every year, since our inaugural edition, the International Mobile Film Festival hosts a mobile filmmaking workshop sponsored by the (unaccredited) Mobile Film School in San Diego by S. Botello Productions™. We have big news to share!
Levi Austin Morris made short films that screened in our film festival since 2015.
As part of the ever-growing mobile filmmaking community, he attended last year’s festival in person. He was already working on his first smartphone feature film, Paralysis.
Paralysis is screening at this year’s festival on Saturday, at 5:00PM (time subject to change).
Levi Austin Morris will be attending this year’s film festival to present his Paralysis, followed by Q & A with lead actor Allison Lobel and film producer Jamie Tobias.
You’ll have a chance to meet and network with this incredible trio throughout the 3-day event in the beautiful Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego, less than two miles from Mission Beach.
Levi, Allison and Jamie are working professionals in L.A. and they’re already working on their next feature film.
In January, Levi had a conversation with founder Susy Botello on the SBP Podcast episode 141, where he shared that his dream is to create and make films. Congrats to Levi because he’s doing it! And you can too.
Don’t miss Levi’s mobile feature filmmaking debut, Paralysis, on Saturday at the festival. Then come back Sunday, and join attendees and filmmakers to learn from the team’s experience making a feature film with smartphones. They’ll share their insights into making Levi’s dream movie so you can make your own.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to develop your story into a concept that you can make a movie with, and about the tools he used to film with iPhones.
Along with lead actor Allison Lobel and producer Jamie Tobias, you’ll take an unforgettable journey into making your dream movie using your own smartphone. Even though Levi and his team used iPhones, this workshop will inspire owners of any brand smartphone.
Levi Austin Morris wrote, directed, filmed, edited, created the props, and much more. Oh, and he’s also one of the protagonists in the film.
