A Place to Share During IMFF 2023
This year, we hope to bring an online experience to coincide with our in-person festival.
The doors have closed for submissions to the 12th edition of the 2023 International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego. Now we begin to make selections. The process is exciting and one of the toughest things we do. If you submitted your project, stay tuned to your emails to finalize your film selection before we hand them to the judges, who are eagerly standing by! Have you seen them yet?
We continue to share more news, updates and stories about the festival and the community, right here. Please subscribe and share with your friends to subscribe. It’s free.
We understand social media is changing and we would hate to lose our connection to you. At this time, this publication is a safe bet to stay updated, as well as our website. It’s never been the case that everyone is thriving on the same social media platforms as everyone else. But at this time, this one is a pretty safe bet because you are notified through email when we publish something.
Sometimes, we just post without emailing, so come back at your leisure and find out what’s new, or read more stories.
We describe this platform a multimedia publication, so below are some of the goodies you can expect from our film festival.
Before, During, and After IMFF 2023
Audio interviews during the festival as podcast episodes.
Videos, like this one with Jed Brophy.
Photos and stories about what happened, including the announcement with the winners and more!
Some of the short films which won awards (with permission from the filmmakers)
Comment threads so you can interact with us and share your own thoughts and stories.
The festival takes place during the last weekend in April each year. The 12th Edition of our film festival takes place April 28, 29, and 30, 2023.
New Space to Explore and Connect
We want to bring your attention to our new presence on Post.News social media platform.
If you have never heard of it, it is still in beta form. We were approved January 17 this week. If you would like to join, they are opening their doors for the general public next week. Here is what we like about it. It works a bit and looks a bit like Twitter. But it’s not at all like Twitter. Confused? For example, not character limit.
